Delicious kottu and rice & curry! We came for dinner because we saw all the great reviews on google and despite not seeing anyone in the store (perhaps because it’s off peak season), we decided to give it a go. We had a hibiscus tea which went great with honey, chicken kottu had a nice chewiness and the fish curry and rice was really flavoursome. The head chef explained why everything took so long - as with most Sri Lankan restaurants, nothing is pre-made or batch cooked. They start preparing once you make the order so that the ingredients are fresh. Great chill ambience, friendly service and delicious food.

Incredible healthy and fresh food! You can really taste all the ingredients and it tastes like Ayurveda Yasith the owner is so friendly and takes time to explain about the curry. Music & ambience Thank you for having us- we will return

We came here both of our 2 nights in Hikkaduwa because the curry was SO delicious & the man who runs it is so friendly. We ordered vegetable curries and all the accompanying dishes and it was so yummy that we barely spoke a word to each other our whole meal. Also, I am gluten intolerant and he was really helpful in explaining the ingredients. Highly highly recommend!

Rice and Curry was delicious!! Pumpkin, Okra, beetroot and some chunky fresh Tuna. This is the SPOT if you are looking for some tasty Srilankan food. The owner and everyone working in the island curry hub was super friendly and accommodating! Food came super fast and was super fresh! If you are craving some home cooked Srilankan food - do not miss this spot!

A great start to the day with some yummy brunch at this lovely local cafe! The shakshuka was super flavourful and the coffee was well done! Also the serving sizes are massive so come hungry! Definitely recommend stopping by if you’re in the area for some yummy food

This was the best place that we ate during our time in Hikkaduwa. The food is incredible, very authentic, beyond tasty and so fresh. The owner is so nice, friendly and when we said we would come back for a 2nd night he offered to make us different vegetable curries, which were fantastic. This place is a MUST if visiting Hikkaduwa.
